Friant turned his love for the pepper into the now famous product, “The Habanero Shaker.”

“The Habanero Shaker,” is a clever “shaker” that allows people to sprinkle a little or a lot of habanero pepper on their food. The Habanero pepper has a measure of 200,000 Scoville units of heat, one of the hottest rated. BY comparison, The Jalapeno pepper is rated at 4,000 on the Scoville. Friant has made using peppers easy and handy. He also shares the information that the pepper releases chemicals in the body called endorphins, which is a body’s natural reliever of pain, so that not only are you getting delicious heat but a healthy choice, as well.

Friant did not always work in the pepper business. In, 2003, he became a top salesman at a real estate company and soon began “flipping” houses.
