The IEC Apprenticeship Program is a combination of classroom and on-the-job training over a four-year three-year for Low-Voltage period of time. The program is designed to provide the apprentice with the necessary theory and practical training to earn the status of electrician. IEC-Indy’s four year electrical apprenticeship program is recognized for 40 college credits from the American Council on Education ACE. Starting salary on the IEC wage scale is currently $12.10 to $13.00 per hour. Must have valid state of Texas Electrical Apprenticeship License or cannot begin work. Special Notes.
